Our Strictly Come Dancing Experience in the 3rd Series 2005 |
|
Hanna’s Strictly Experience with Actor Will Thorpe |
|
Hanna deservedly made 6 weeks with Will. He turned out to be fantastic Ballroom dancer due to his good frame excellent work ethic and determination to succeed. Not to mention a unique character. Seen here dancing a Jive to Shania Twain’s “ Man I feel like a woman tonight ” |

Andrew’s Strictly Experience with Actor Jaye Jacobs |
|
Well what can I say…it was good while it lasted! That was 2 weeks. Unfortunately even though Jaye had loads of personality and natural ability we were not able to make it past the second week. For reasons unknown to us.
The first week Jaye and I danced a Waltz to Leo Sayer’s “When I need you”. As Jaye was more a bump and grind or hip hop type dancer she found getting in touch with her graceful side rather a challenge. But I must say she pulled it off extremely well and as a result got very respectable marks from the judges.
Our second and last week was the Rumba which we danced to Toni Braxton’s “How Could an Angel Break my Heart” I really thought this would be a strong week for us as Jaye had fantastic body action and personality but for some reason the judges did not see this.
Ultimately the whole experience was very challenging but at the same time very exciting and rewarding.

Hanna’s SCD story
So in the end I can say that I really enjoyed my whole SCD experience and hope to have another chance in the next series. |

As a couple we had the privilege of dancing our Cha Cha to Michael Buble’s “Save the last dance for me”. We have met Sir Cliff Richard, Westlife, Katie Melua and my personal highlight, meeting my dance inspiration Mr Patrick Swayze! We would just like to say that it has been an honour and a privileged to be given such a opportunity as this and as a result becoming ambassadors of our dance style. We hope to continue promoting Ballroom and Latin American Dancing to the best of our ability in what ever we do. |
